Blackfire Research founder and CEO, Ravi Rajapakse, will be speaking in Lisbon Portugal for Europe’s 6th annual . With attendees from over 150 countries, the annual summit is dubbed as “Europe’s largest and most important technology marketplace” and is comprised of 21 individual conferences and boasts up to 50,000 attendees, 7,000 of which are CEOs. The high number of participants draws in some high profile speakers from the arts, entertainment and technology industries, as well as world leaders, humanitarians, academics, financiers, and more.

Ravi is sure to leave an impression on the Web Summit attendees. On stage, he will be joined by musician and entrepreneur, Arabian Prince, best known for being a founding member of the rap group N.W.A., and now, is the driving force behind INOV8 NEXT, an incubator that supports new technologies as they go to market. Together, Ravi and Arabian will take the stage at the MusicNotes conference, engaging an audience of around 800, to speak on the topic of innovation in the audio and music industry. Since 2006, Ravi has been reimagining wireless home entertainment, so it should come as no surprise that he will be discussing what he sees for the future of audio technology and how that will impact the user’s listening experience.

In his on stage discussion with Arabian Prince, Ravi will be discussing how the push to cut the external cords (outside the home) will soon be followed by the push to cut the internal cords (within the home), creating a seamless, flexible, mobile wireless entertainment system. There are also plenty of opportunities for innovation in a 360-degree visual experience pertaining to audio/visual events, such as concerts and music videos, and Ravi will discuss these possibilities during his address as well.

Their session, which takes place on November 10 from 2:40-3:00 pm GMT+1 (6:40-7:00 am PST) is entitled “Innovate or Die” and will be streamed live on the official Web Summit Facebook page.
